The customer is the largest quality bullion dealer providing a wide range of products in New Zealand.
Challenge
The customer wanted to create a system to sell bullions. Calculation of the bullion, also known as 24h ‘bid’ spot price, to be based on an open market USD price from Kitco. System should present all prices to customers in NZD, so the conversion rate should be taken from BNZ Bank using secure FTP while changes through the day. System should distinguish three levels of user membership with appropriate rates calculation using the configurable back-end formulas.
Solution
A team of our business analyst and system architect investigated the business processes and needs and created a set of technical documentation including detailed functional specification, system architecture and prototyped the future solution. A team of developers and testers created and fine-tuned newly-created web-based system.
