Every December New York welcomes financial technology professionals and experts at the largest and most important conference Waters USA. The conference is usually held in the very heart of New York – at Times Square.
This year one of the company co-founders, Gregory Prays was visiting Waters USA to follow the latest developments in financial services technology as well as discuss the hottest technology trends in a friendly professional atmosphere.
The event was incredibly organized and had a number of break-through presentations and panels – a very nice presentation by Craig Lewis, Director and Chief Economist of Division of Risk, Strategy and Financial Innovation of SEC on the regulatory landscape in 2012 and 2013 as well a great panel on so much overhyped clouds, private and public.
The event finished off with a great networking at a reception party. Business cards were flying all ways and Greg enjoyed casual technology and business talks. It is always very interesting to find what is going on another side of the pond as well as meet some Brits.
The following week schedule for Greg was not that tight with just a couple of meetings with our existing and prospecting clients every day, so he could enjoy the NY parties and sightseeing, paid a visit to NYSE and saw the opening bell and visited the trading floor.
